A local educational institution in Yeovil is seeking an aspiring Early Years Educator to provide high-quality teaching in a supportive environment. The role involves coordinating nursery staff and fostering relationships with children. This position allows the educator to gain a level 3 qualification while working 30 hours a week at the apprenticeship wage. Opportunities for wage increase to National Minimum Wage are available after 12 months.
Reckleford Infant and Nursery School are looking for an aspiring Early Years Educator to join their busy team. Your role will include ensuring that all children receive high quality teaching in a safe and inspiring environment and are happy and valued while they are in the nursery. This is a great opportunity to gain a level 3 qualification whilst obtaining valuable experience.
Monday to Friday
9:00-15:00 with 30 minutes lunch
30 hours per week total
£7.55 per hour (National Apprenticeship wage)
Wage increases to National Minimum Wage after 12 months if over 19 years old.
Early Years Educator level 3
Duration: 18 Months
Training Provider: LMP Education
Maths and English at GCSE level A-C (4-9) or functional skills equivalent - Essential.
Early Years / Childcare level 2 - Desired.
Reckleford Infant School and Nursery is a small and successful school on the East side of Yeovil offering places to children from the age of 2 to 7 years. We have a newly expanded Nursery with three rooms catering for children aged 2-4 years as well as three classes.
