We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join a mission-driven team dedicated to transforming the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry. In this role, you will help healthcare and life sciences organisations use Data and AI to improve patient outcomes, accelerate drug discovery, and modernise care.

You will work as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them solve complex data, AI and Agentic AI challenges. You will also play a key role in our internal community, sharing your knowledge and mentoring team members to help them achieve success.

In this role, you will partner closely with Account Executives to co-create engagement strategies for our largest Healthcare & Life Sciences customers, aligning data & AI solutions to meaningful business & patient outcomes.

You will act as a trusted advisor, influencing stakeholders, shaping the vision, architecture & adoption of the Databricks platform, helping stakeholders at every level understand how data engineering, analytics & agentic AI can come together to solve their most important problems.

You will create strong relationships with senior leaders, including C-level executives, along with our partner ecosystem, so that customers have confidence in the Databricks vision & strategy. Internally, you will mentor and coach other Solution Architects within the team, creating a community of knowledge sharing, enabling all perspectives to be actively sought and valued. Externally, you will also represent Databricks in meetups, seminars, panels and conferences.

You will progress on one of several paths, deep technical specialisation, industry thought leadership, strategic customer vision or people leadership, with support to pursue the route that best fits your strengths and ambitions.

We are looking for someone with experience leading complex customer engagements in a technical presales or customer-facing architecture role, within data and cloud-focused environments. A background in any of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Science or Agentic AI will help you quickly understand and shape our customers’ technical journeys.

You are comfortable building trust with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, you are able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences and have experience bringing together a cross-functional team to achieve long‑term outcomes.

You have hands‑on experience in architecting and delivering complex proofs‑of‑concept, as well as experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP & Azure), and experience working in core programming languages (e.g., Python, PySpark, or SQL). You are excited about the rate of evolution of the Databricks platform, along with the broader field of Data & Agentic AI and the continuous learning journey this will involve.

While not essential, any prior Databricks certification or equivalent experience with Databricks will be beneficial.

The role involves regular travel to customer sites (including U.S., India, and Europe), typically up to 30% of your time.
