Satellite Systems Engineer – Bus & Anomaly Resolution (Hybrid)
Job summary
A leading technology company in Greater London is seeking an experienced engineer for a satellite systems role. This hybrid position involves integrating contractor teams, supervising vendor progress, and analyzing satellite malfunctions. Candidates must hold a degree in engineering with extensive experience in satellite design, manufacturing, and testing. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential. This is a 3-month rolling contract inside IR35, making it a challenging but rewarding opportunity for those passionate about space technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in spacecraft platform subsystems.
- Extensive experience in satellite design manufacturing, test, and system engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of satellite design, assembly integration & test.
Responsibilities
- Integrate with contractor teams for satellite platform procurement.
- Supervise progress of sub-vendor and act as point contact for technical matters.
- Analyze satellite malfunctions and support liaising with suppliers.
