A healthcare provider in Slough is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their Medicines Efficiency Team. The successful candidate will implement cost-effective prescribing strategies, optimize medicines use, and support clinical teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing prescribing data and ensuring compliance with governance processes. The ideal candidate should have a GPHC registration and experience in hospital pharmacy, along with strong organizational and communication skills. This role offers a salary between £32,602 and £39,686 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Efficiency Team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This role plays a key part in delivering the Trust's Medicines Efficiency Programme, supporting cost-effective prescribing and optimising medicines use across all sites.
The post holder will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to implement medicines switches, support homecare services, analyse prescribing data, and ensure compliance with medicines governance processes.
You will contribute to efficiency initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.
This role is ideal for a proactive, organised pharmacy technician with a passion for improving medicines optimisation and delivering value within the NHS.
