The role

Our private wealth offering is highly regarded by the Directories, with the Chambers HNW guide (2024) ranking our lawyers from every office location.

As an expert, you'll handle tax and trusts advisory work related to private wealth and succession planning, manage our existing portfolio of trusts, and contribute innovative ideas to improve our processes. Our clients include private individuals, families, and entrepreneurs, making this role interesting and varied. As part of our Legal 500-rated private client team, you'll find the work rewarding and high-value.

Your daily tasks will include liaising with clients on succession and tax planning actions, attending trustee meetings and preparing minutes, overseeing trust accounts and tax returns, calculating trustees' tax liabilities, preparing policy statements, and managing trust payments and income distributions. You'll also review and interpret trust deeds and documentation.

This role involves supporting our wider private client department, making it sociable and collaborative. You'll enjoy working with colleagues across offices to provide seamless, comprehensive service for our clients.

About you

You might currently be a Tax and Trusts Manager at a law firm or working in accountancy and seeking a move to law. Alternatively, you may have a strong background in tax and trusts from a different career path. Enthusiasm, experience, and ability are equally important to us.

Where will I be working?

Our culture is unique and engaging. We work hard but also enjoy social interactions that shape our environment.
