A leading government agency in Belfast seeks a Compliance Lead for high-net-worth individuals, focusing on Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax. The role includes building relationships, conducting risk assessments, and leading investigations into non-compliance. Candidates should possess strong tax expertise and excellent communication skills. You will lead HMRC’s compliance strategy for a portfolio of high-risk wealthy individuals-those with annual income over £200,000 and/or assets exceeding £2 million. You’ll apply your tax expertise to identify and address complex risks across personal tax regimes, build strong relationships with customers and their agents, and lead investigations into suspected non-compliance.This is a technical, strategic role requiring deep tax knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across HMRC.
