Our adult services programme is expanding within our care packages in the West region. We seek an individual who is independent, adaptable, and proactive to join our community team in Weymouth and Dorchester.

You must hold a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle to be suitable for this role.

We offer both full-time and part-time vacancies. Your responsibilities include supporting individuals in their homes, participating in activities such as swimming, walking groups, day trips, and holidays, and assisting with daily living skills like cooking, cleaning, and medication routines.

You will work shifts such as 07:00 - 16:00, 14:00 - 22:00, including alternate weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins receive additional pay).

A typical day for a support worker includes:

• Sharing skills and life knowledge to promote independence and good life skills
• Maintaining accurate records of care plans, finances, appointments, and medications
• Following support plans and adapting them as needed based on behavior changes
• Providing personal care, including hygiene prompts, assisting with bathing and washing, and medication management
• Enjoying a varied and rewarding job with opportunities for career development
• Completing a 12-week induction with training, shadowing, coaching, and mentoring
• Opportunities to earn an accredited qualification after passing probation
• Access to an internal learning portal to enhance your skills and knowledge
