TXM Recruit
A renowned cricket venue in the City of London is seeking stewards to provide first-class service during events. Successful candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage pressure effectively. The role demands flexibility for varying hours, and while experience in spectator safety is beneficial, it is not required. This opportunity offers a fast-paced working environment, essential for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Marylebone Cricket Club (the Club) is the world's most active cricket club, custodian of the laws of cricket and is also the owner of Lord's Ground, affectionately known as the “Home of Cricket”. The MCC and Lord's brands are renowned worldwide and are synonymous with excellence, prestige and providing an enjoyable customer experience, whether at an international cricket match with 31,000 spectators, or for Sunday Afternoon Tea in the Long Room.
Do you enjoy providing an excellent experience to all you meet?
Are you an exceptional communicator who can talk to anyone given the right environment?
Do you have interpersonal skills that can adapt to any situation?
Did you know you do not need to know anything about cricket to apply?
Working as part of a world-class stewarding team, you will play a crucial role in the three pillars of event operations: safety, security, and service. You'll be warm and welcoming, calm under pressure and provide a first-class service to all those who enter the Ground. You will have the confidence to direct the public, ensuring the safety and security of all staff, spectators, members and players are never compromised, and ensure ground regulations are followed at all times. You will act in line with the club's own standards and values: excellence, teamwork and integrity.
