South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a highly caring, compassionate, self-motivated, honest, trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic Staff Nurse to provide high qulaity care to patients on Nicholas Ward .
As a Staff Nurse on Nicholas Ward, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a 27-bedded short-stay Frailty Unit. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualised care tailored to the complex needs of older adults experiencing frailty.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients' physical and mental health, managing treatments, supporting patients and their families, and promoting independence and dignity throughout their stay. You will ensure that care is delivered safely, compassionately, and in line with Trust policies and best practice guidelines.
We are looking for a Fraility Nurse with minimum one year experience who is motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable patients.
To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or medical treatment. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and implementation and evaluation of the programme of the care. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Clinical
Take clinical responsibility for patients within your allocated area of work
Continuously assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment, using appropriate programmes/methods of care
To ensure a high delivery of quality care in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines. Participating in activities to improve the quality, productivity and effectiveness of care in response to local and national policies and initiatives
To practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional conduct and scope of professional practice and maintain own NMC registration
In the absence of a senior colleague, and following appropriate induction and guidance, will be expected to co-ordinate the shift, and take management responsibility for admissions, transfers and discharges to the ward or department.
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure an effective flow and communications within the area, including being available for Board and Ward Rounds as required.
