Radiology Administrator - Weekend

Warwickshire Hospital | Administration | Bank | Adhoc |
£12.33 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Working hours will be over the weekends between the hours of 8am-8pm.

*Please note that the training for this role will take place throughout the week, so you will need to be available for this.

Our Radiology department in our Warwickshire Hospital currently has exciting opportunities for Bank Radiology Administrators. You would support the Radiology team and be the point of contact for our service users.

As our Radiology Administrator you will:

• Handle Radiology enquiries and general queries from patients, healthcare professionals and support staff.
• Schedule Radiology appointments and maintain databases with awareness of data protection and requirement for confidentiality.
• Be a welcoming face to our busy Radiology department.
• Be a part of a dynamic and friendly team.

To succeed as a Radiology Administrator you will:

• Have great people skills with the ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy.
• Ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner.
• Ideally be educated to GCSE in English and Maths.
• Have good IT and keyboard skills.
• Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage (ideally within a healthcare environment).
• Have knowledge of medical terminology (Desirable).
