Job Summary

Modality LLP is a large‑scale provider of healthcare services, renowned for its innovative approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist care. Modality LLP seeks a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our growing private healthcare team at our Caterham clinic.

Role Overview

The role is initially a zero hours contract, providing ad hoc receptionist support. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, welcoming them warmly, managing appointments and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the clinic. Salary for this role is £23,874.88 – £26,397.29 per annum WTE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Maintaining the clinic environment.
  • Managing appointment bookings and clinician schedules.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Supporting with back‑office administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and CQC standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer‑services role, including experience within NHS/private healthcare.
  • Customer service principles and practices.
  • Basic medical terminology.

  • Basic telephone call management, including taking and transferring calls.
  • MS Word, Outlook, Excel and other relevant software packages.
  • Previous call‑handling experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
