London
Our client, a wireless research organisation, is growing its London-based 6G research team, focused on building the next generation of intelligent, AI-driven network systems. The group operates at the frontier of agentic AI, distributed systems, and future mobile network architectures, with direct influence on global standards.
This role is suited to an engineer who enjoys building tools and intelligent agents, not just theorising about them. The work centres on designing, implementing, and validating agentic AI components that operate within and across 6G network layers, with outputs targeting pre-standardisation and formal standards bodies.
As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will design and build AI agents, control loops, and tooling that explore how autonomous, learning-driven behaviour can be Embedded into future mobile networks.
The focus is on hands‑on engineering within a research environment: turning concepts into working systems, testing them in lab‑based deployments, and feeding the results into standards-relevant technical contributions.
