Job summary
A recruitment agency is looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee a confidential programme, managing communications and engagements. The role is hybrid, requiring at least two days onsite in South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have proven project management experience and excellent organizational skills. You will engage with stakeholders and maintain documentation, all while ensuring discretion. A hands-on, calm, and professional approach is essential for this role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:15pm
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a confidential programme, leading on the communications and engagement plan. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, take control of delivery, and manage sensitive information with absolute discretion.
Hybrid role: minimum 2 days per week in the office
Remaining days can be worked from home
Flexibility around which days are office-based, dependent on diaries and programme needs
- Lead and deliver the communications and engagement plan for a confidential programme
- Take full ownership of the project plan, ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders while handling sensitive information
- Maintain clear project documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office tools
- Provide structure, momentum, and control to an established programme
- Proven experience in project management
- Experience leading or contributing to communications and engagement activities
- Ability to work discreetly and handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to take control quickly
- IT literate, with confident use of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Available to start ASAP
- A confident, hands-on Project Manager
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities
- Calm, professional, and highly trustworthy
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement and structured delivery environments
