Job Description

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accurate financial management.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple business units.
• Monitor and report on capital expenditure, ensuring compliance with approval processes.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to provide financial insight and support decision‑making.
• Lead on month‑end close processes, reconciliations, and journal postings.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and support integration following acquisitions or structural changes.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit files and liaise with auditors as required.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the accounting & finance department.

The Successful Applicant

• Part Qualification in ACCA or CIMA
• Solid experience in either assisting, or producing Monthly Management Accounts
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
