Job Description
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accurate financial management.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple business units.
- Monitor and report on capital expenditure, ensuring compliance with approval processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to provide financial insight and support decision‑making.
- Lead on month‑end close processes, reconciliations, and journal postings.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and support integration following acquisitions or structural changes.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of audit files and liaise with auditors as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in the accounting & finance department.
The Successful Applicant
- Part Qualification in ACCA or CIMA
- Solid experience in either assisting, or producing Monthly Management Accounts
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
