Job summary
A leading renewable energy company based in the UK is seeking a skilled Platform Asset Manager to coordinate activities for Vestas turbine platforms. This role involves resolving technical issues, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and acting as a liaison with turbine suppliers. Candidates should possess a master's degree in engineering and have over 8 years of experience with offshore wind turbines, particularly Vestas. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive key initiatives in the offshore wind sector.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working with offshore wind turbines, especially Vestas.
- Deep knowledge of WTG design, operation, and failure mechanisms.
- Experience in supporting offshore wind farm operations or technical asset management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities for Vestas platforms and share insights across the business.
- Support operations by resolving complex technical issues.
- Act as liaison to turbine suppliers, influencing roadmaps and resolving issues.
- Identify platform-level risks and facilitate implementation of mitigations.
- Promote knowledge sharing and transparency across the organization.
