Job summary
A reputable property Management Consultancy seeks an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team in the United Kingdom. The role involves carrying out surveys, developing maintenance programmes, and managing contracts to ensure works are completed to high standards. Successful candidates will work closely with residents and contractors to ensure excellent customer service. This is a part-time role, requiring 3 days per week commitment, covering the Harlow, Cambridge, and Ipswich areas.
Qualifications
- Experience in carrying out surveys and assessments of housing stock.
- Ability to develop and deliver maintenance and investment programmes.
- Strong project management skills to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Responsibilities
- Carry out surveys to assess housing stock condition.
- Develop and monitor maintenance and investment programmes.
- Prepare specifications and schedules of works.
Elevate projects are Working in partnership with our client, a reputable property Management Consultancy, to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to join their busy team to cover projects in an area encompassing and area between Harlow, Cambridge and Ipswich. This is a 3 days per week role.
As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for :
- Carrying out surveys to assess the condition of housing stock.
- Developing, monitoring, and delivering planned maintenance and investment programmes.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates.
- Managing contracts and ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Working closely with residents, contractors, and colleagues to ensure minimal disruption and excellent customer service.
- Supporting the asset management strategy to improve energy efficiency and sustainability
