A growing insurance organization in the UK is looking for a Pricing Actuary to join their Pricing team. This role is pivotal in developing expertise in Political Violence, Political Risk, and Credit portfolios. You'll support underwriters in negotiations, lead portfolio monitoring, and enhance pricing tools. This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence underwriting decisions across key specialty lines.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills relevant to pricing strategies.
  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance sector is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in the Political Violence, Political Risk, and Credit lines.
  • Provide account pricing and support underwriters during negotiations.
  • Lead portfolio monitoring and contribute to rate reviews.
  • Review model calibrations and enhance pricing tools.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc pricing activities across relevant portfolios.
