TXM Recruit are currently working with a private property management company who provide a dedicated VIP service to worldwide clientele who are seeking an experienced Gas Safe Plumber to join their team in Newmarket.

Salary – £40,000 per year + overtime

Hours – 8/9am to 4/5pm, Monday to Friday

Weekends – 1 in 4 weekend shift

Overtime – 1.5x overtime for hours over 40hrs

Location – Newmarket only

Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).

• Install, maintain and repair hot and cold-water services, sanitation and waste disposal systems and central heating systems.
• Installing, servicing, and repairing gas boilers, cookers, and other appliances.
• Checking for gas leaks and ensuring proper ventilation.
• Fix and maintain piped services, including drainage.
• Testing of closed loop heating circuits for correct levels.
• Assist other staff members as required.
• Maintain inventory for plumbing materials.
• Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
• Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
• Seasonal shift & on call rota.
• Any other duties as and when requested.

• City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing.
• Domestic gas safe qualification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
