Job summary
A family-run engineering company in Wombwell is seeking a Refrigeration and Airconditioning Engineer to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various refrigeration systems. This role offers a competitive salary, a company van, and in-house training. Ideal candidates will have experience with different refrigeration systems and air conditioning, along with mechanical and electrical skills. A valid driving license and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check are also required.

- Able to work on a variety of refrigeration systems, including fridges and chillers.
- Mechanical and electrical skills required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Carry out routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
- Complete documentation associated with maintenance work.
- Liaise with commercial clients to ensure excellent service.
- Follow health & safety processes on site.

- 38.000 - £50.000 OTE- dependant on experience

- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and repairs.
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
- Complete all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative Vertragworks
- Liaise closely with the client (Commercial clients) to maintain excellent customer relations
- Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements
- Experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 (FGas)
- An individual who has previously worked on a variety of Refrigeration Systems, Fridge, Freezers, Display Cabinets, Cold-rooms, Chillers
- Air-conditioning experience on Split A / C Systems also VRV, AHU
- Mechanical and Electrical Skills
- Full Driving license
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
