A healthcare provider is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver a clinical pharmacy service focused on mental health. The role requires active participation in patient care, provision of pharmaceutical training, and adherence to guidelines. Essential qualifications include an MSc in Pharmacy and experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. The candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a UK driving licence and the ability to adapt to varying working hours.
Deliver, in conjunction with the Principal Pharmacist and Head of Pharmacy, a clinical pharmacy service to Bassetlaw LMHT within the Adult Mental Health care unit of the Mental Health Care Group. Work as a pharmacist independent prescriber and hold a caseload of patients who are under the care of the LMHT and who are judged as well and stable enough for discharge from Medical Outpatients. Undertake a patient‑facing clinical role to deliver a high quality and cost‑effective clinical pharmacy service in line with national and local medicines optimisation strategy. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), which will be deducted from salary over the first 2 months of employment. Applicants are encouraged to enroll for the DBS Update Service; an annual fee of £16 per year applies.
