Site Engineer - CQV
Job summary
A growing pharmaceutical company in Woking is seeking a Site Engineer for CQV activities. The role involves supporting a small Engineering team during site transformation projects, with a strong emphasis on commissioning and qualification. Candidates should have experience in pharmaceutical engineering and an understanding of GMP. Flexibility for onsite work is essential, with opportunities for overtime available.
Qualifications
- Must have pharmaceutical engineering experience in a CQV capacity.
- Understanding of GMP requirements is essential.
- Knowledge of automation and computerized systems is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support a small Engineering team with CQV activities.
- Focus on commissioning and qualification tasks.
- Be flexible in approach as required for site transformation.
Skills
We are working exclusively with an expanding pharmaceutical business that is about to undergo a number of site transformation projects. Being a smaller site but part of a bigger, European wide business, the company continues to invest significantly in growth.
As part of this, this specific facility will be expanding to enable the installation of newer equipment and to increase operational capability.
Therefore, this is a new hire that will support a small Engineering team but specifically with a focus on commissioning, qualification and validation activities (CQV). The emphasis will be on commissioning and qualification but given the size of the site and team, the successful candidate will be flexible and versatile in their approach.

- Must bring pharmaceutical engineering experience within a CQV capacity – the number of years is less important than the quality of work you have been responsible for
- Understanding of GMP
- Knowledge and understanding of automation and computerised systems is a strong advantage
- Flexibility in being on site as required for additional work (overtime / TOIL available) as the site transforms
