Mixture of remote and assessment centre working, offering an exceptional work-life balance. This role is for a qualified Paramedic to join the Disability Assessor team, assessing Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

The role involves autonomous assessments with individuals who have a broad range of health conditions, with some assessments conducted remotely. An in-depth, fully funded training programme is provided, and the role counts toward clinical hours to help maintain your registration.

• Use clinical experience to understand how health conditions affect daily life and how disability impacts individuals
• Complete detailed, meaningful assessments in an office, at home, or remotely via telephone, video, or face-to-face
• Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making

• HCPC registration is required
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential
• Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and with strong IT competency
