A regional health care trust in the UK is looking for a Specialist Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) to improve health outcomes for school-aged children. This dynamic role involves working closely with communities, schools, and health services, leading a team, and implementing the Healthy Child Programme. Ideal candidates will have relevant nursing qualifications and experience in public health. This is a part-time position offering professional development and flexible working options.

Qualifications
Previous experience providing a health service to children and young people and families.
Experience of working in a Public Health Nursing team.
Experience of safeguarding work.
Use of School Screener or similar platforms.
Experience of Multi-Agency working.
Experience in the supervision and assessment of pre-registration and post-registration nursing students.
Responsabilités
Lead a skill-mix team to deliver the Healthy Child Programme.
Implement screening health questionnaires and triage results.
Monitor outcomes using evidence-based tools for service delivery.
Connaissances
Teaching and group presentation skills
Ability to facilitate mentorship and supervision of others
Formation
RSCN / RN (Child) / RGN / Registered Midwife
Registered with NMC
Evidence of continuing professional development
