Job summary

A healthcare organization in North Wales is seeking a Community Nurse to provide nursing care within Wrexham and Flintshire. This part-time role (16 hours/week) focuses on planned and unscheduled care to support patients and reduces hospital admissions. Candidates must be NMC Registered Nurses with effective communication skills and evidence of post-registration training. Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not required. Salary range is £31,516 to £38,364 pro rata.

Community Nurse - East Area Evening & Overnight Nursing Service

We currently have the following Band 5 Community Nurse vacancies within the East Area Evening & Overnight District Nursing Service:

Band 5 - 16 hours per week

The service covers the hours between 6.00 pm and 8.00 am.

Further discussions can take place at interview or by informal discussions.

Main duties of the job

The aim of these posts is to support improved service provision, to reduce unnecessary patient hospital admissionsand supportearly discharge home over a 24 hour period, providing both planned and unscheduled nursing care services to patients within Wrexham and Flintshire.

Full induction into the posts will be supported, with opportunities for further career development.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
