We are seeking dedicated Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our residential services in Preston and surrounding areas. As a Residential Care Worker, you will need to be emotionally resilient and motivated to make a positive difference daily. You will understand our children’s backgrounds and needs, ensuring their safety and adhering to protocols and regulations. The role requires empathy, compassion, resilience, and positive parenting skills to encourage independence and support children through their development.

The daily tasks may vary, from organizing activities to providing one-on-one support, in a dynamic and unpredictable environment. We seek enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and caring individuals to enhance the lives of young people in our care.

• Rate of Pay: £11.92-£12.54 per hour, with a £30.00 sleep-in rate

16-24 hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a one-on-two or two-on-four basis.

Our young people are aged 8-18 with various behavioural and emotional needs. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, providing guidance and structure, supporting educational access, promoting healthy lifestyles, and engaging in activities and outings.

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
• Desirable but not essential: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, experience in therapeutic environments, educational support, leadership skills, and higher qualifications.
