Central Service Charge Team Manager

Location: Grosvenor House, 125 High Street, Croydon, CR0 9XP

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Hybrid Working: 3 days remote, 2 days in the office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Pay Rate: £30.22 Per Hour

• Lead and motivate a support team for accurate service charge calculations and issuing.
• Improve data collection for better efficiency and accuracyli>
• Coordinate data and annual processes within deadlines.
• Ensure quality assurance in charge processes, including audits and reporting.
• Work with different business areas to prepare service charge budgets and track expenses.
• Manage changes in service charge data, systems, and processes.
• Support system improvements for better service charge delivery.
• Develop procedures that comply with laws and contracts.
• Lead projects to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.

• Understanding of residential and commercial service charge management.
• Knowledge of legal and statutory service charge frameworks.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong financial and numeracy skills.
• Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
• High attention to detail.
• Organizational skills to manage team tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in people management with a focus on team collaboration.

• Experience in giving effective feedback and promoting continuous learning.
• Skills in dealing with underperformance and using coaching management styles.
• Ability to manage induction and probation for new team members.
