We are now looking for a Site Development Manager to join Wärtsilä Defence Solutions Limited (WDSL) on a permanent basis, accountable for our site development & investment strategy. You will lead these aspects of the company in Havant, reporting to the Head of Projects but also working closely with other stakeholders in the Shaft Line Solutions (SLS) business unit. This role will be a key contributor to the delivery of the company strategy regarding investment and to achieve or growth targets. The successful applicant will need to challenge assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and provide guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers related to site development and investment. You will need to establish a high level of credibility, creating strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Lead and motivate the team(s) to ensure safety, quality, and output of the functions, in line with the business strategy, management expectations, relevant legislation, and regulations. Develop and instill a culture of continuous improvement whilst monitoring performance, development, training, and succession planning.
