The Role

This is a fully remote position. We currently have remote engineers based in the UK, Germany, Turkey, Poland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

We’re looking for an experienced frontend engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll work alongside a highly technical and motivated team and report to a Tech Lead. You would apply fundamental engineering and mathematical skills to solve problems and overcome challenges, not just develop code. This environment is intellectually stimulating for those with the right mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, managers, UI designers, and engineers to define software requirements and technical analysis.
• Write well-formulated, testable, and readable code using appropriate design patterns.
• Diagnose and resolve page load and performance issues.
• Debug and fix application bugs.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Maintain and refactor existing code for new features or improvements.
• Document code, algorithms, and APIs.
• Assist in drafting end-user manuals.
• Identify and communicate front-end best practices.

Skills

• Strong React framework knowledge and best practices.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with front-end observability tools like Sentry, LogRocket, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Github Actions or ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of front-end security risks (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
• Commitment to writing clean, scalable, and reusable code.
• Creative problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior developers.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience with React and Typescript.
