Commissioning Maintenance Engineer – Energy Plant (Contract)
Job summary
A leading energy company based in Greater London is looking for a Commissioning Maintenance Engineer to join its team at the Riverside Energy Recovery Facility. This contractor position starts on December 1, 2025, and ends on April 1, 2026. The role involves mechanical maintenance, supporting the commissioning team, and ensuring compliance with contract and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have mid-level mechanical experience, familiarity with energy from waste plants, and necessary safety certifications. Daily compensation ranges from £500 to £550.
Qualifications
- Mid-level experience in mechanical maintenance commissioning or industrial plant operations.
- Experience in maintenance roles at Energy from waste Power Plants.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, filters and rotating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure work complies with contract requirements and HSEQ standards.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with project team.
- Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
