We are working with a respected independent surveying practice who are expanding their team and looking for a motivated surveyor to join them in Eastbourne.

The Role

As a Building Surveyor, you'll work on a diverse mix of projects across residential, commercial and valuation work. No two days will be the same - from defect analysis and residential surveys to contract administration and client liaison. You'll benefit from guidance and support within a small, professional team, while also having the autonomy to manage your own workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out residential surveys and defect analysis
• Assist with building contract administration, from inception through to completion
• Prepare clear, high-quality reports and documentation
• Take ownership of client instructions, ensuring excellent service delivery
• Build strong relationships with clients across a diverse portfolio

About You

• Degree qualified (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ideally 3-5 years' surveying experience
• Strong report writing skills with attention to detail
• Clear and confident communication style
• IT proficient, organised and methodical in your approach
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to develop your skills further
• Professional integrity, honesty and a collaborative attitude
