Senior UI Designer
Job summary
A growing UK SaaS provider is seeking a Senior UI Designer to lead the visual and interaction design of a complex web-based platform. You will create developer-ready UI for new features, refine existing journeys, and establish a design system. Key responsibilities include producing user-centered designs, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and ensuring accessibility. You'll have real ownership and influence in a growing team with an autonomous work environment.

We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to lead the visual and interaction design of a complex web based platform. You will create developer-ready UI for new features, refine existing journeys and establish a design system that will support both desktop and mobile. If you enjoy simplifying complex workflows and collaborating closely with engineering, this is a role with real ownership and impact.
- Create high quality, user centred UI for a feature rich B2B SaaS product
- Produce clean, developer ready assets and detailed specs
- Improve consistency, accessibility and component usage
- Identify user pain points and contribute to early discovery
- Work closely with product, engineering and other teams
- Support iterative improvements without disrupting existing customers
- Strong portfolio of shipped product work in B2B or data heavy SaaS
- Confident UI craft, systems thinking and interaction fundamentals
- Experience building or maturing design systems
- Ability to produce detailed, production ready UI
- Good understanding of responsive design and accessibility
- Comfortable working with engineers and front end constraints
- Happy using Figma, Sketch, Adobe or similar tools
- Experience with complex workflows, dashboards or high density interfaces
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience in agile or product led environments
- Build the design system from scratch
- Influence both desktop and upcoming mobile products
