A media business in London is seeking a Revenue Accountant to manage the entire revenue recognition process. The successful candidate will oversee revenue operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support project teams in financial forecasting. Key responsibilities include preparing revenue reports, supervising staff, and improving revenue visibility. With a salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, this role offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days from home.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end revenue recognition in line with accounting standards.
• Review timesheets and supplier costs to ensure accurate accruals and forecasts.
• Reconcile WIP, deferred revenue, and accrued income balances.
• Prepare revenue reports with key movements and variances.
• Streamline and improve revenue recognition processes.
• Work with project teams to forecast revenue and monitor margins.
• Review project profitability and WIP; identify risks and corrective actions.
• Manage intercompany revenue allocations for multi-studio projects.
• Supervise and mentor an Accountant.
• Act as the main finance contact for revenue-related issues.
• Produce monthly KPIs and variance analyses.
• Build dashboards to improve revenue visibility.
