CMA Recruitment is supporting our Dorchester, Dorset client who are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will support month-end duties and assist in the commercial and strategic planning for ongoing projects.

• Assist in analysis comparing budgeted to actual figures, highlighting relevant trends
• Analyze revenue, stock, WIP, and profit margins
• Monitor cash flow and allocate cash
• Support partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the business, providing financial insights and recommendations
• Complete journals and other adjustments as necessary
• Support month-end processes
• Manage cashbook and sales ledger

• Studying AAT or qualified by experience, or currently pursuing CIMA or ACCA
• Confident in systems usage and intermediate Excel skills
• Experience in a project-based environment is preferred
• Commercially minded
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to progress

• Salary: £35,000 to £39,000 depending on experience
