A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a client in the marine finance sector. The role involves supporting the channel lead in securing new customers and requires substantial experience in marine finance, strong credit skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships. This position offers opportunities for proactive business development and engagement with various stakeholders.
Our client is the UK financial services arm of a blue chip global business. They have recently launched a marine finance business providing growth funding to the offshore wind, workboat and tug markets in the UK.
As such, they are now recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to support the channel lead in identifying, approaching, and securing new customers in the commercial marine sector.
The role will suit a highly experienced individual capable of proactively driving new business, preparing Credit applications, working closely with colleagues in Credit, Asset Management and Legal to ensure transactions are reviewed and documented appropriately.
You will build long term relationshipswith customers and industry partners/stakeholders. and engage with all stakeholders across the business in a true deal team approach.
The successful candidate will have experience gained within the marine finance sector, with well developed credit skills, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels both internally and externally
