A leading consultancy firm in the United Kingdom is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers for a 6-month contract. Candidates should have strong expertise in AWS services, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. Experience within government or large-scale digital programmes is crucial. The role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, scalable infrastructure, and collaborating in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within government or large-scale digital programmes.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with containerisation using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Active SC clearance or SC eligible.
Responsabilités
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Deploy and manage scalable infrastructure in AWS (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.
Connaissances
Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a x3 DevOps Engineers on a 6 months contract.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Deploy and manage scalable infrastructure in AWS (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and reliability standards in line with government regulations.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.
- Champion DevOps best practices to drive automation, scalability, and reliability.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within government or large-scale digital programmes.
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Proficiency with containerisation & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Understanding of security and compliance standards for government/public sector.
