A national roadside assistance provider is seeking a Roadside Technician to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You'll use your technical expertise to diagnose faults and make repairs at the roadside, providing essential support to drivers. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, potential OTE of £60,000, and includes a company vehicle. You'll be part of a national roadside assistance team that's known for delivering first-class service. With your fully equipped van (which you'll start and finish your day from), you'll have everything you need to handle breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs at the roadside. When a repair isn't possible, you'll arrange recovery so that the driver can keep moving.
Every day is different — one minute you'll be using your technical expertise and diagnostic equipment to fix a vehicle on the spot, the next you'll be helping a family get their car safely recovered. The common thread? You'll be the expert who takes ownership of the situation and makes the right call to get people moving again.
- Salary: Up to £45,000 per year
- OTE: Up to £60,000 per annum
- Location: Based from home

- Confident with diagnostics, fault finding, and repair
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Manufacturer apprenticeship or City & Guilds, NVQ, B-Tech diploma qualification
