People Advisor Manager:
Job summary
A leading human resources firm is seeking a People Advisor Manager to lead HR operations and compliance within the organization. The role involves managing restructures, advising on employee performance, and ensuring legal compliance with UK employment laws. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a senior advisory position, be capable of influencing managers, and have a CIPD qualification. This is a fully remote role with a competitive salary up to £50,000.

- Must have experience supervising junior HR Advisors.
- Ability to influence managers in various situations.

- Manage company restructures ensuring compliance.
- Oversee redundancy processes.
- Advise on performance management and coaching.

Education
Cherry Professional are currently a People Advisor Manager. You will develop the team and operation to ensure that the service is efficient and effective in promoting a people culture that identifies risk to the business from an employment law and commercial perspective.
- Managing company restructures
- Ensuring company restructures are managing compliantly
- Managing redundancy processes
- Ensure that process and corporate governance is in place and adhered to.
- Support manage and maintain third party accounts/contracts which support team service delivery.
- Develop, analyse and present Management Information to support drive continuous improvement across the function.
- Advise managers on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters.
- Performance Management
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in setting clear performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
- Monitor and report on performance trends to drive improvement initiatives.
- Compliance and Policy
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments impacting HR operations
- Previous experience in a senior advisory role.
- Previous experience of supervising more junior HR Advisors.
- Previous experience of influencing managers via telephone and face to face.
- Previous experience of managing or supporting business wide change.
- Previous experience of working with trade unions.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) is desirable
