A healthcare staffing company is seeking a Locum Occupational Health Nurse in Peterborough. The role involves administering flu vaccinations at a rate of approximately 16 per hour during flexible locum sessions. Candidates must hold an NMC registration, have experience in Occupational Health, and possess a recent clinical update for immunisations. This opportunity allows for flexible work to fit your schedule.
Formación
- You must have NMC registration and a valid PIN.
- Experience in Occupational Health or Practice Nursing is required.
- A recent clinical update for immunisations is necessary.
Responsabilidades
- Administer influenza vaccines, aiming to vaccinate approximately 16 per hour.
- Deliver flexible locum sessions with a minimum of 3-hour clinics.
- Provide available vaccines, equipment, and documents on site.
Conocimientos
Dream Medical is a primary care specialist company focusing on locum and permanent opportunities for qualified Nurses, AHPs, HCAs and GPs. We provide nursing cover in the Peterborough area to large organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination in the latter part of the year. This is a flexible locum opportunity that you can fit around your existing schedule and join an established company to administer the flu vaccination on an ad-hoc basis. Vaccinations are planned nationwide and typically occur from the end of September to around mid-December.

- Administer influenza vaccines, aiming to vaccinate approximately 16 per hour.
- Offer flexible locum sessions with a minimum of 3-hour clinics and travel between sites (25p per mile if applicable).
- Provide a lucrative rate of pay and one-to-one consultancy.
- Ensure vaccines, equipment, sharps bins and documents are available on site in a temperature-controlled environment on arrival.
- NMC registration and PIN
- Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience
- Immunisations clinical update
- Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year
