Purpose of Role:
- The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a key role in the customers digital experience with Weir. Reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager, you will own the tactical execution of digital marketing efforts globally, with an aim to streamline and improve marketing operations. Their goal is to enhance the overall customer journey with Weir.
- Working directly with the global sales and marketing teams, this role will be instrumental in creating and managing automated email journeys, building and supporting landing pages and forms, and maintaining the Account Engagement (Salesforce) platform.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Building Automated Email Journeys:
- Create, design, build, map, and report on automated Account Engagement (Salesforce Pardot) email campaigns and nurture programs to engage target audiences, including content creation, engagement tracking and click-through analysis.
2) Landing Page and Form Integration:
- Integrate, test and troubleshoot landing pages and forms on the website, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience
- Support the digital marketing team with building and integrating landing pages and forms, including customer journey mapping, testing, and troubleshooting.
3) Platform Lead:
- Own our Marketing Automation platform (Salesforce Account Engagement)
- Collaborate with external marketing agencies to ensure cleanliness of the platform and optimal data integrity. This may include identifying, troubleshooting and resolving data irregularities or sync errors between key digital platforms and updating or archiving marketing assets (campaigns, files, email templates)
- Collaborations with Domain Lead to ensure proper use and vision of the platform
4) Continuous Improvement + Reporting:
- Leverage analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness, conduct testing, and recommend improvements.
- Remain up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing automation. Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance marketing operations and customer journeys.
Previous Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- 3+ years of digital marketing or automation experience.
- Experience working with CRM and/or marketing automation platforms (eg. Account Engagement (Salesforce Pardot), Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot or Adobe Journey Optimizer).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and implementing email marketing campaigns and automated journeys.
- Understanding of end-to-end B2B marketing with digital lead generation at the core
- Self-led with an ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Language Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to manage relationships with external marketing agencies and internal stakeholders
Mathematical:
- Proficient in developing, interpreting and generating insights from marketing data and performance dashboards / KPIs.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and adjust priorities accordingly.
Technical Skills:
- Practical experience using Pardot / Salesforce is preferable
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (especially Word, Power Point and Excel).
