Information about the Program Facilitator role

Emeritus is seeking a Program Leader/Facilitator for the Kellogg Executive Education Program AI Strategies for Business Transformation. The Program Leader/Facilitator is a subject matter expert that serves as the front‑line academic support for learners in the course, supporting the delivery of a high‑impact, 8‑week online program. The Program Leader/Facilitator will be working closely with the Emeritus Academic Delivery Team and Kellogg faculty. Candidates must have industry experience and demonstrated knowledge of the course's subject area. They will guide learners through complex topics like AI‑driven strategies, frameworks, and challenges in real‑world contexts.

This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. It is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.

Responsibilities of the Program Facilitator role
  • Facilitate weekly live sessions and moderate required discussion boards.
  • Moderate and guide learner engagement during faculty live sessions.
  • Support learners in synthesizing live session content delivered by the faculty (e.g., AI tools in cybercrime, GRC frameworks, deepfake detection).
  • Assist with capstone assignment challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Delivery Team at Emeritus to improve engagement and comprehension.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide support or escalation as needed.
Qualifications for the Program Facilitator role
  • 10+ years of extensive work experience in the field of business transformation or any related field.
  • Proven experience creating digital transformation strategies or identifying areas that need improvement or change and designing and implementing transformation strategies.
  • Proven experience identifying automation and the use of Gen AI and Agentic AI.
  • Proven experience using AI‑powered robotics and autonomous tools and systems.
  • Proven experience managing transformation projects from initiation to closure.
  • Experience providing guidance and recommendations to management to ensure transformation or innovation plans align with company goals.
  • Experience supporting executive or mid‑career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
  • Ability to translate content into actionable insights.
  • Empathetic and learner‑centered approach.
  • Comfortable in an online environment, navigating LMS platforms (Canvas), Zoom, Slack, or similar environments.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.
