A leading manufacturer in Hull is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure vehicles meet quality standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing documentation, and supporting ISO9001:2015 compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle bodybuilding, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Established in 1991 in Kingston upon Hull, Paneltex began its journey as a manufacturer of insulated panels for cold storage. With six specialized factories strategically located across the UK, Paneltex now boasts a weekly production of hundreds of refrigerated vehicle bodies, vehicle body kits, and portable cold stores. Position Title: Quality Controller
Location: Paneltex Ltd, Somerden Road, Hull, HU9 5PE
Reporting to: Quality Manager/Quality Supervisor
Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 14:00
Salary: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour (DOE)

As a Quality Controller at Paneltex, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all completed vehicles meet customer specifications, quality workmanship standards, and functional requirements. Youll play a key role in maintaining and supporting our ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System, including conducting internal audits, driving problem-solving initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Youll be part of a committed and collaborative Quality Team that values excellence and growth.
