About the Firm

Based in Plymouth, The Mortgage Guy Ltd has been an established business for close to 20 years with many more years of experience made up by their team of advisers.

About the Role

They are looking to expand their team and offering by recruiting several mortgage advisers on a self employed basis to work on their existing client banks and help to generate new enquires into the business.

This is a role suited to anyone with the South West region including areas such as Bristol, Taunton, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire.

Whether you’re an experienced adviser or one new to the industry looking for a place to call home, you’re what they are looking for.

  • Commission splits for self generated clients ranging from 60 / 40 to 70 / 30 depending on your level of experience

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Maintaining high quality standards when providing mortgage & protection advice to clients
  • Uphold the reputation of the business
  • Create and maintain business relationships with lenders and providers
  • Willingness to create and build your own network of clients in your area
  • Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and CPD requirements
What will you need to succeed?
  • Full CeMap qualification or equivalent to provide mortgage and protection advice is a must
  • Mortgage adviser industry experience is ideal but not essential
  • The understanding and desire to work on a self-employed basis
  • Passionate about customer service and producing the right outcome
  • Professional attitude with professional rapport building skills
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills
