- Worked with Enterprise Architects to present solution to Architecture Review Board and Governance
- A proven track record of building Java applications (minimum version 8).
- Experience of building in cloud-based environments like AWS and Azure - crucial.
- Demonstrable experience of TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) - crucial
- SQL and noSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- The skills to build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment.
- Knowledge and experience of APIs, RESTful services and Microservice Architectures.
- Expert knowledge and extensive experience of modern Java technologies, frameworks and design principles.
- Capable of leading the production of software solutions of the highest quality
- Remote working with occasional travel to client side (Leeds, Manchester) for workshops
- Clearance BPSS (SC nice to have)
