Job summary
A legal recruitment firm is seeking a Locum Childcare Lawyer for a 3-month contract primarily working remotely. The position offers up to £60 per hour and requires handling a varied caseload of Childcare cases, providing specialist advice, and representing the Council in Family Court when necessary. Ideal candidates will have experience with Local Authorities and complex Childcare Law matters.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities required.
- Demonstrated experience with complex Childcare Law issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases including pre-proceedings.
- Represent the Council at the Family Court as required.
- Advise clients on complex Childcare Law matters.
Skills
Locum Childcare Lawyer – 3 months + – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £60 per hour – Midlands
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings
- Represent the Council at the Family Court when required
- Provide specialist Childcare services and policy advice with an emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters
The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Childcare matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.
- Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
- Working Pattern: Full Time
- Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, Court attendance when required
- Hourly Rate: Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)
- Location: Midlands
