What the Finance Department does at Worldwide — The Finance Team supports a wide array of business units by overseeing and enhancing the financial landscape through comprehensive financial management, strategic planning, and cross-department collaboration.

• Compilation and recording of general ledger journals, including complex payroll journals, bank transactions, accruals, and amortization of prepayments.
• Reconciliation and maintenance of payroll liability accounts, including correction of errors and mis-postings, evidencing outstanding liabilities, and reporting changes in month-end liabilities.
• Responding to queries raised by the wider finance team.
• Assisting with financial year-end audit requirements and fiscal year reporting requirements.
• Assisting with the professional development of other members of the team.
• Actively seek areas for continuous improvement of processes and reporting.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality at all times.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience of working within a finance department.
• Sound understanding of complex double-entry bookkeeping.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong command of business English, both written and verbal.
