Health & Safety Consultant required for an established UK Health & Safety consultancy. We are seeking a home-based Health and Safety Consultant covering primarily the East Midlands. Ideal locations for this role include Cambridge, Peterborough, and Northampton, with some flexibility for ad hoc travel outside these areas, including overnight stays.

Package: A competitive package including a basic salary of circa £45k dependent on experience and qualifications, potential commission, car allowance, pension, and other benefits.

Job Description: You will work with clients across various sectors, providing health and safety advice to ensure compliance with UK legislation. A strong background in H&S, relevant qualifications, and knowledge of industry standards are essential. Your role involves offering practical support to employers, conducting audits, identifying non-compliance, and developing tailored safety management systems.
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications & Experience: Candidates should have a strong H&S background with relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, Chartered IOSH, ISO45001 lead auditor, or equivalent. Minimum of NEBOSH General/NCRQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification, with at least two years' front-line experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and auditing software is desirable.
Teamwork & Communication: Support colleagues, support business development, deliver training, and maintain excellent client relationships. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
This role involves regular travel within the assigned area, including potential overnight stays.
