We’re looking for a Legal Counsel fluent in Romanian, Dutch or German language. This is a newly created role and can be based anywhere in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for contract renewal, tenders, contracts (suppliers and customers).

What you’ll do:

• Support commercial and contractual negotiations with customers and suppliers, including drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements, rental contracts, tender documentation, service level agreements, warranty documents, performance guarantees, and procurement contracts.
• Ensure contracts provide appropriate protection to Aggreko, in line with group standards.
• Deliver clear, commercially relevant legal advice aligned with current market norms and the deal's commercial aspects.
• Provide training and guidance to sales, operations, engineering, and procurement teams on relevant legal matters, internal documents, and policies.
• Ensure legal compliance and governance, including ethics, anti-bribery, and corruption, in conjunction with the Group Compliance Director.
• Manage and oversee the maintenance of regional corporate entities with external service providers.
• Monitor changes in legislation and regulation, assessing impacts and taking appropriate actions.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Strong legal expertise with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide commercial solutions, with attention to detail and quality.
• Experience in the engineering services sector or related sectors like utility energy, mining, or oil & gas.
• International experience operating across diverse geographies.
• Commercial awareness with a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach, understanding the importance of legal advice from a business perspective.
• Fluency in Romanian, Dutch, or German, with business-level English; additional European languages are a plus.
