Owned by a global broking giant and partnered with one of the largest insurers worldwide, this pedigree MGA offers a 'best in class' service, especially within the Golf niche. The company is expanding its market share, focusing on football and rugby clubs among others.

• Managing relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
• Identifying opportunities for new and existing clients, evaluating insurance risks.
• Underwriting both new and renewal business within delegated authority.
• Communicating effectively with senior staff to maintain clarity and positive relationships.
• Providing high-quality service within SLAs, prioritizing clients and customers.
• Engaging with brokers and colleagues to foster profitable relationships, both virtually and face-to-face.
• Issuing policies, calculating premiums, and negotiating terms with brokers.

Ideal candidates will have a commercial underwriting background, preferably with experience in golf or sports insurance. We also welcome outstanding Commercial Underwriters with experience in Commercial Combined, Property, or Casualty insurance who have a passion for sports. Experience with delegated authority schemes is a plus. Candidates should not be focused on auto-rated business.

Essential skills include being highly numerate, proficient IT skills, and excellent stakeholder management. The role offers hybrid working, with options for increased remote work for suitable candidates.
