Job summary
A boutique employment firm in the UK is seeking a talented solicitor to manage a varied caseload and provide expert advice on employment law matters. The role offers autonomy, a modern work environment, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on clients' lives. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of post-qualification experience in Employment Law, a strong billing track record, and a positive, solution-focused attitude. Qualifications
- 2 PQE+ in Employment Law.
- Strong billing track record.
- Experience in a small firm or private practice setting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Comfortable with legal tech and remote working.
- Positive, proactive, solution-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Advising employees on all aspects of employment law.
- Managing your own caseload with independence and confidence.
- Drafting letters before action, settlement proposals, and detailed assessments.
- Negotiating strong settlements and preparing cases for litigation.
- Recording time accurately and meeting realistic billing targets.
- Helping improve digital processes, tools, and the overall client journey.
