Qualifications

  • 2 PQE+ in Employment Law.
  • Strong billing track record.
  • Experience in a small firm or private practice setting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
  • Comfortable with legal tech and remote working.
  • Positive, proactive, solution-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Advising employees on all aspects of employment law.
  • Managing your own caseload with independence and confidence.
  • Drafting letters before action, settlement proposals, and detailed assessments.
  • Negotiating strong settlements and preparing cases for litigation.
  • Recording time accurately and meeting realistic billing targets.
  • Helping improve digital processes, tools, and the overall client journey.

What You’ll Be Doing

Advising employees on all aspects of employment law, including :

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Redundancy
  • Discrimination & whistleblowing
  • Disciplinary & grievance issues
  • Settlement agreement negotiations
  • Running your own caseload with independence and confidence
  • Drafting letters before action, settlement proposals, and detailed assessments
  • Negotiating strong settlements and preparing cases for litigation where needed
  • Recording time accurately and meeting realistic billing targets
  • Helping improve digital processes, tools, and the overall client journey
